fergler David killed me with this cover. I can feel the desperation in the lyrics, specially when he says f-ing out of sight. I was sitting in a parking lot looking at all of this horrible gargantuan SUVs thinking how I will not survive the mass extinction event. I started crying. anyway, One of the best voices here, and the production is awesome. I love the emptiness of the drums, hope you continue to explore this sonic pallette. Favorite track: Revelator (Gillian Welch cover).

Joe Apice Well Revelator was a heartbreaker to begin with. I was frightened to listen to Dave’s version, knowing what he might bring to it.
The A-side struck me as a stark, sad and beautiful note about shame— which was more than relate-able, the home-piano rings true.
Revelator crushed me, as I suspected it would. More home productions to come? Yes Dave. Please & Thank you. Watch the waves and move the faders.

Grant Shellen Dave's covered a few Gillian Welch songs over the years, and I know that, like me, he loves "Time (The Revelator.)" So glad he finally recorded this track. Favorite track: Revelator (Gillian Welch cover).

heymattsmith I feel like I hear hear Andy Fitts influence in "Your Bearings" and I love it. Favorite track: Your Bearings.

Jonathan Mount Very nicely paired tracks. The melody for Your Bearings is fresh, beautiful territory.
